Have your say

I would like to make a request for you to insert this letter regarding a member of the public who stepped in to avert an altercation which transpired in the Chesterfield Post Office on Thursday, December 4. I

was in a heated argument with a person who placed his hand onto me and started to threaten me and also use indecent language.

At this point a gentleman stepped between us and issued this person with a notice to stop his actions at which point he decided to depart from the scene.

I did thank this gentleman but not as I would like to do and if he contacts your paper would you please provide him with my details so that I may show my gratitude and perhaps buy him and possibly his wife

a well earned drink.

His actions are well required in many areas of today’s society and he is a credit to his family.

Thanking you in anticipation.
