Anthony Richard Taylor, 44, of The Dale, Wirksworth. Pleaded guilty to assaulting a man by beating. Community order made. Ordered to pay £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Nathan Scott-Hopkinson-Tomlinson, 22, of Derby Road, Birdholme. Pleaded guilty to assaulting a woman by beating her. Committed to prison for 14 weeks suspended for 18 months. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £115 and £85 costs.

Criminal Damage

Vincent Lowe, 27, of Poolsbrook View, Staveley. Pleaded guilty to damaging a window to the value of £250 belonging to Action Housing. Committed to prison for one week consecutive. Ordered to pay £250 compensation.

Jack Robert John Heathcote, 18, of Park Avenue, Darley Dale, Matlock. Pleaded guilty to damaging a marked police car belonging to Derbyshire Constabulary. Fined £264, ordered to pay £100, a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Christopher Kieran Salmon, 27, of Welbeck Close, Somercotes. Pleaded guilty to damaging a Vauxhall Corsa belonging to a man. Discharged conditionally for 12 months, ordered to pay £250 compensation, a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Wayne Stuart Thackray, 27, of Melling Close, Birdholme, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to stealing a ten cans of Carling lager, to the value of £8. Discharged conditionally for 12 months, ordered to pay £8 compensation and a £12 victim surcharge.

Zara Louise Corwell, 26, of Malson Way, Newbold. Pleaded guilty to stealing toiletries and cosmetics to the value of £32.55, belonging to Lloyds Pharmacy. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Ordered to pay £32.55 in compensation and a £20 victim surcharge.

Andrew James Marshall, 36, of Malson Way, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to stealing a joint of meat to the value of £12.32 belonging to Asda. Fined £40, ordered to pay £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Shane Alan Whitmore, 26, of Chigwell Way, Barrow Hill, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to failing to stop after an accident whereby damage was caused to another vehicle. Community order made.
