Assault

Nicola Joan Barratt AKA Waterfall, 51, of Cotmanhay Road, Ilkeston: Pleaded guilty to assault by beating. Restraining order to last until November 3, 2017. Pleaded guilty to and proved that she repeatedly failed to stand when told to do so by the legal adviser. Must pay a £115 victim surcharge. Committed to prison for eight weeks.

Andrew James Key, 32, of Derby Road, Long Eaton: Pleaded guilty to assault by beating. Fined £80 and must pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Pleaded guilty to a further count of assault by beating. No separate penalty.

Lucy Gutteridge, 34, of Briar Gate, Long Eaton: Pleaded guilty to two counts of assault by beating. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Must pay £100 and £50 compensation and a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Kieran Roberts, 23, of Boweswell Road, Ilkeston: Pleaded guilty to assault by beating. Indicated a guilty plea to possessing cannabis. Connor William David Turner, 23, of Baslow Road, Long Eaton: Application to amend the requirements of a suspended sentence order on the grounds that the accredited programme is unworkable. Suspended sentence for the offence of driving with excess alcohol is varied to a prison term of 12 weeks suspended for 12 months and must comply within 12 months to a curfew requirement and a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement.

Adam Scott Dean, 24, of HM Prison, Perry Road, Nottingham: Pleaded guilty to stealing coffee belonging to One Stop Shop, on Charlotte Street, Ilkeston. Pleaded guilty to stealing groceries belonging to Tesco Extra, on Nottingham Road, Ilkeston. Pleaded guilty to stealing items belonging to the NISA store, on Queen Elizabeth Way, Kirk Hallam, Ilkeston. Pleaded guilty to stealing coffee belonging to One Stop Shop, on Charlotte Street, Ilkeston. Must pay £24.90 and two lots of £35 compensation and £32.85 compensation and a £115 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Committed to prison for two weeks.
