Andrew Langley, 47, of Hill Crest, Shirebrook. Pleaded guilty to exceeding the alcohol drink-drive limit. Fined £120 and must pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for 14 months. Pleaded guilty to using a vehicle without insurance. No separate penalty. Pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence. No separate penalty. Pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to custody having been released on bail. Fined £80.

David Ian Smith, 75, of Manor Road, Brimington, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to exceeding the alcohol drink-drive limit. Fined £240 and must pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for 12 months.

Timothy David Jones, 25, of Wenlock Drive, Grassmoor. Pleaded guilty to speeding. Fined £400 and must pay a £40 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for six months.

Terence Charles Hunt, 69, of Lyttelton Street, Mackworth, Derby. Pleaded guilty to being the driver of a vehicle owing to the presence of which at Henry Avenue, Matlock, an accident occurred whereby damage was caused to another vehicle and having not given a name and address failed to report the accident to police. No separate penalty. Pleaded guilty to being the driver of a vehicle owing to the presence of which at Henry Avenue, Matlock, an accident occurred whereby damage was caused to another vehicle and failed to stop after the incident and failed to give details. No totting disqualification due to exceptional hardship accepted by the court. Fined £80 and must pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Driving record endorsed with five points.

Assault

Craig Hartshorn, 30, of Hambleton Avenue, North Wingfield, Chesterfield. Indicated a guilty plea to assault occasioning actual bodily harm. Fined £100 and must pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Ben Thomas Gill, 25, of Tom Lane, Duckmanton, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to assault by beating. Fined £60 and must pay a £30 victim surcharge and £250 costs.

Jamie Phillip Alvey, 33, of Danesby Crescent, Ripley. Pleaded guilty to two counts of assault be beating. Pleaded guilty to resisting a police constable. Admitted committing an offence while subject to a conditional discharge for two years originally imposed for an offence of harassment. No adjudication. Dealt with for the original offence of harassment which was subject to the conditional discharge. Committed to prison for 20 weeks. Restraining order to last until further order. Must pay £200 compensation and a £115 victim surcharge and £620 costs.

Matthew Patrick Murphy, 49, of Newland Dale, Newbold, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to assault by beating. Community order to last until November 9, 2017, with an Alcohol Treatment Requirement and a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement. Fined £40 and must pay an £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Theft

Darren Wayne Hitchman, 46, of Danby Avenue, Old Whittington, Chesterfield. Indicated a guilty plea to stealing a bag of groceries. Fined £80 and must pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Admitted committing an offence while subject to a conditional discharge for 12 months for an offence of theft from a shop. No action taken on the breach.

Dwight Watkinson, 25, of Guildford Avenue, Sheffield. Pleaded guilty to two counts of stealing alcohol to a value unknown belonging to Asda, on Sheffield Road, Whittington Moor, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to having a foil lined carrier bag in the course of or in connection with a theft to conceal alcohol from Asda, on Sheffield Road, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to two counts of failing to surrender to custody having been released on bail in proceedings. Admitted committing a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge for 12 months. No action taken. Committed to prison for 16 weeks suspended for one year with a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement to comply with instructions of the responsible officer to attend appointments or participate in any activity required up to 17 days. Must pay £214 compensation and a £115 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Shane Rose, 18, of Greenhill Avenue, Ripley. Pleaded guilty to damaging a tyre on a Kia Sportage vehicle to the value of £314.56. Indicated a guilty plea to having a bladed article, namely a knife, without good reason in a public place. Pleaded guilty to damaging a tyre on a Nissan Qashqai to the value of £77. Pleaded guilty to damaging a tyre on an Audi A5 to the value of £109. Pleaded guilty to damaging a windscreen on a BMW 318 to the value of £65. Pleaded guilty to damaging a security booth window belonging to Derbyshire Constabulary. Community order to last until November 7, 2017, with a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement and 100 hours of unpaid work. Must pay £314.56 and £77 and £109 and £65 in compensation and £85 costs.

Johnathan Charles Dodson, 32, of Cauldon Drive, Holme Hall, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to damaging a door belonging to West Bar Newsagent. Community order to last until November 7, 2017, with a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement. Fined £16 and must pay £1,600 compensation.

Michael Fox, 23, of Pulman Close, Chesterfield. Indicated a guilty plea to committing arson by destroying by fire a Vauxhall Corsa. Committed to prison for 14 weeks suspended for 12 months with a curfew for three months with electronic monitoring. Must pay £1,000 compensation and an £80 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Pleaded guilty to damaging a Vauxhall Corsa to the value of £600. No separate penalty.

Cezary Perzyk, 42, of Nicholas Street, Hasland, Chesterfield. Indicated a guilty plea to being the owner and being in charge of a dog which was dangerously out of control and injured someone. Ordered that the dog be destroyed unless an appeal is lodged within 21 days. Fined £303 and must pay £550 compensation and a £30 victim surcharge and £650 costs.

Makauley Oliver-Kushner, 21, of Derby Road, Chesterfield. Indicated a guilty plea to possessing cannabis. Fined £80 and must pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
