Christopher David Brignull, 30, of Deerlands Road, Wingerworth. Indicated a guilty plea to possessing crack cocaine. Fined £260 and must pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Tara Jane Hicks, 37, of Wirksworth Road, Whatstandwell. Indicated a guilty plea to possessing 0.29grammes of crack cocaine. Fined £120 and must pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Motoring

Steven Lee, 52, of Station Road, Selston. Pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle while disqualified from holding a driving licence. Community order to last until August 4, 2017, with 180 hours of unpaid work. Must pay an £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for 16 months. Pleaded guilty to using a vehicle without insurance. No separate penalty.

Jennifer Ellen Campbell, 42, of Burnbridge Road, Old Whittington, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to being drunk in a public place while having the charge of a child. Fined £90. Found guilty of being in charge of a vehicle after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion in her breath exceeded the prescribed limit. Fined £120 and must pay a £30 victim surcharge and £310 costs. Disqualified from driving for 12 months.

John Alan Gould, 58, of Rydal Crescent, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis in the course of an investigation into whether he had committed an offence when suspected of having driven a vehicle. Fined £450 and he must pay a £45 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for 12 months.

Leon Tony Jackson, 39, of Netherfield Close, Matlock. Pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen of blood for a laboratory test when suspected of having driven a vehicle and during the course of an investigation into whether he had committed an offence. Fined £250 and must pay a £25 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for 16 months.

Keith Hugh Makepeace-Nunn, 50, of Church Street, Waingroves, Ripley. Pleaded guilty to exceeding the drink-drive alcohol limit. Committed to prison for eight weeks suspended for 12 months with a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement. Fined £120 and must pay a £115 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Nigel West, 62, of Chigwell Way, Barrow Hill, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to assault. Community order with an eight-week curfew. Must pay £100 compensation and a £60 victim surcharge and £200 costs.

Mark Anthony Spencer, 48, of Parks Avenue, South Wingfield, Alfreton. Pleaded guilty to stealing fragrance valued at £28. Fined £80 and must pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Pleaded guilty to stealing fragrance valued at £43.50 belonging to Debenhams. No separate penalty. Must pay £43.50 compensation.

Tyrone Karl Walker, 24, of Boythorpe Crescent, Chesterfield. Found guilty of using threatening behaviour. Must pay an £85 victim surcharge and £620 costs. Admits committing a further offence while subject to a 12 month conditional discharge for the offences of theft and failing to surrender to bail. No adjudication.
