Drugs

Steven John Holland, 35, of Farm Close, Grangewood, Chesterfield. Indicated a guilty plea to possessing amphetamine. Fined £96 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Christopher David Brignull, 30, of Deerlands Road, Wingerworth. Indicated a guilty plea to possessing crack cocaine. Fined £260 and must pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Tara Jane Hicks, 37, of Wirksworth Road, Whatstandwell. Indicated a guilty plea to possessing 0.29grammes of crack cocaine. Fined £120 and must pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Motoring

Steven Lee, 52, of Station Road, Selston. Pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle while disqualified from holding a driving licence. Community order to last until August 4, 2017, with 180 hours of unpaid work. Must pay an £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for 16 months. Pleaded guilty to using a vehicle without insurance. No separate penalty.

Jennifer Ellen Campbell, 42, of Burnbridge Road, Old Whittington, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to being drunk in a public place while having the charge of a child. Fined £90. Found guilty of being in charge of a vehicle after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion in her breath exceeded the prescribed limit. Fined £120 and must pay a £30 victim surcharge and £310 costs. Disqualified from driving for 12 months.

John Alan Gould, 58, of Rydal Crescent, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis in the course of an investigation into whether he had committed an offence when suspected of having driven a vehicle. Fined £450 and he must pay a £45 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for 12 months.

Leon Tony Jackson, 39, of Netherfield Close, Matlock. Pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen of blood for a laboratory test when suspected of having driven a vehicle and during the course of an investigation into whether he had committed an offence. Fined £250 and must pay a £25 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for 16 months.

Keith Hugh Makepeace-Nunn, 50, of Church Street, Waingroves, Ripley. Pleaded guilty to exceeding the drink-drive alcohol limit. Committed to prison for eight weeks suspended for 12 months with a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement. Fined £120 and must pay a £115 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for 28 months.

Assault

Nigel West, 62, of Chigwell Way, Barrow Hill, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to assault. Community order with an eight-week curfew. Must pay £100 compensation and a £60 victim surcharge and £200 costs.

Jordan Paul Moore, 32, of Chatsworth Road, Brampton, Chesterfield. Convicted of assault by beating. Committed to prison for eight weeks.

Theft

Michelle Barber, 34, of Green Farm Close, Chesterfield. Indicated a guilty plea to stealing Yankee candles valued at £87.96. Must pay a £115 victim surcharge. Indicated a guilty plea to stealing Yankee candles valued at £109.95. Indicated a further guilty plea to stealing Yankee candles. Committed to prison for 42 days.

Stuart Donald Stevenson, 25, of Oakamoor Close, Holme Hall, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to stealing alcohol. Must pay £100 compensation. Pleaded guilty to using threatening behaviour. Pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to custody. Admits committing a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge for 12 months for the offences of theft and failing to surrender to bail. No adjudication. Dealt with for the original offences which were subject to a conditional discharge of stealing alcohol and failing to surrender to custody. Admits failing to comply with a community order by failing to report to a relevant officer. No adjudication. Dealt with for the original offence which was subject to the community order of stealing whiskey. Committed to prison for 18 weeks suspended for 12 months.

Mark Anthony Spencer, 48, of Parks Avenue, South Wingfield, Alfreton. Pleaded guilty to stealing fragrance valued at £28. Fined £80 and must pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Pleaded guilty to stealing fragrance valued at £43.50 belonging to Debenhams. No separate penalty. Must pay £43.50 compensation.

Other

Tyrone Karl Walker, 24, of Boythorpe Crescent, Chesterfield. Found guilty of using threatening behaviour. Must pay an £85 victim surcharge and £620 costs. Admits committing a further offence while subject to a 12 month conditional discharge for the offences of theft and failing to surrender to bail. No adjudication. Dealt with for the original offence, which was subject to the conditional discharge, of stealing a crate of lager. Also dealt with for the original offence which was subject to the conditional discharge of failing to surrender to custody having been released on bail. Community order to last until August 4, 2017, with a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement and 60 hours of unpaid work. Restraining order to last until August 4, 2019.

Reece Winfield, 21, of Compton Street, Holmewood, Chesterfield. Found guilty of committing an act, namely harassing and threatening violence towards another person which he was prohibited from doing by a non-molestation order. Found guilty of harassing and intimidating the same person despite a non-molestation order. Found guilty of damaging a mobile phone. Committed to prison for six weeks concurrently to an existing sentence. Restraining order to last until August 7, 2021. Must pay a £115 victim surcharge.

Christopher David Boulton, 29, of Broughton Road, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly in a public place. Fined £133 and must pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Nathan Joseph McKay, 30, of Tennyson Street, Stretton. Pleaded guilty to having a lock knife in a public place without lawful authority. Fined £120 and must pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Ross Beardsley, 28, of No Fixed Abode. Indicated a guilty plea to intentionally exposing his genitals. Committed to prison for ten weeks suspended for 12 months. Must pay a £115 victim surcharge.

Ian Anthony Watson, 30, of Chester Street, Chesterfield. Indicated a guilty plea to contacting someone by mobile phone, text message and social media and went to their address which he was prohibited from doing by a non-molestation order. Committed to prison for eight weeks. Must pay a £115 victim surcharge.

Graham Green, 57, of No Fixed Abode. Admitted failing to comply with a community order by failing to abide by his curfew requirements. No adjudication. Dealt with for the original offence which was subject to a community order of assaulting a police officer. Indicated a guilty plea to exposing his genitals. Must pay a £110 victim surcharge. Committed to prison for 16 weeks.

Ricky Wood, 29, of Pullman Close, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to using threatening or abusive words or behaviour within hearing or sight of a person. Discharged conditionally for six months. Must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Trevor Joseph McNeice, 54, of Wheatcroft Close, Clay Cross. Pleaded guilty to harassment. Community order to last until August 9, 2017, with a ten-week curfew and a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement. Restraining order to last until August 9, 2018. Must pay a £60 victim surcharge and £200 costs.

Michael John Weldon, 26, of No Fixed Abode. Admits failing to comply with supervision requirements imposed after release from imprisonment by failing to attend with the supervising officer. Fined £50.
