Andrew Gareth Evans, 39, of Penmore Lane, Hasland, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence. Fined £131 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Pleaded guilty to using a vehicle without a test certificate. No separate penalty.

Martin Christopher Fantom, 32, of Meadow View, Holmewood, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to exceeding the alcohol drink-drive limit. Fined £250 and must pay a £25 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for 14 months.

Jake France, 25, of Talbot Crescent, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle while disqualified from driving. Committed to prison for ten weeks. Lisa Aitken, 29, of St John’s Road, Newbold, Chesterfield. Proved in absence that she failed to notify Chesterfield Borough Council of a change of circumstances which she knew would affect her entitlement to housing benefit. Fined £180 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £100 costs. Proved in her absence that she failed to notify a change of circumstances which would affect her entitlement to a council tax reduction. No separate penalty.

Jordan Chadwick, 21, of Bishop Street, Alfreton. Proved in absence that they entered a train without having a valid ticket. Fined £440 and must pay £6 compensation and a £44 victim surcharge and £135 costs.

Jamie Godley, 23, of Park Drive, Hasland Road, Chesterfield. Proved in absence that he failed to hand over a railway ticket for inspection when asked to do so by an authorised person. Fined £440 and must pay a £44 victim surcharge and £135 costs.

Rachel Reilly, 24, of Somersby Avenue, Chesterfield. Proved in absence that she entered a train without a having a valid ticket. Fined £440 and must pay £2,30 compensation and a £44 victim surcharge and £135 costs.

Mark Dennis Bartholomew, 44, of Dale Road, Matlock Bath, Matlock. Indicated a guilty plea to two counts of sending a social media message via Facebook which he was prohibited from doing by a restraining order. Committed to prison for 18 weeks. Restraining order imposed. Must pay an £80 victim surcharge.

Stephen Chamowskyj, 20, of Waterside, Ironville. Pleaded guilty to damaging a kitchen door and a house phone. Discharged conditionally for one year. Must pay a £15 victim surcharge.

Drugs

Daniel Stuart Marroitt, 44, of Upper Greenhill Gardens, Matlock. Indicated a guilty plea to possessing 0.3grammes of cannabis, a controlled class B drug, and to another count of possessing a quantity of cannabis. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Must pay a £15 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Assault

Caleb Jacob Kynman, 18, of Westlea, Clowne. Pleaded guilty to assaulting a police constable. Pleaded guilty to damaging a fence and convicted for another count of assaulting a police constable. Community order to last until January 4, 2017, with a Thinking Skills Programme and a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement and 60 hours of unpaid work. Must pay £75 compensation and a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Darren Stuart, 28, of Hazelby Road, Creswell. Pleaded guilty to assault. Fined £200 and must pay £150 compensation and a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Theft

Jessica Beth Hodgkinson, 31, of Old Co-op Stores, New Bolsover, Derbyshire. Pleaded guilty to stealing two bottles of vodka. Must pay £31.98 compensation. Pleaded guilty to stealing a litre bottle of whiskey. Must pay £19 compensation. Pleaded guilty to stealing speakers, batteries and flea solution belonging to B&M Bargains. Must pay £44.93 compensation and £85 costs. Admits commission of a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge for possessing a class B drug, a theft and a Bail Act offence. No adjudication - dealt with for original offence. Pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to custody. Dealt with for the original offences relating to the conditional discharge of possessing 0.3grammes of cannabis resin, stealing two bottles of whiskey and failing to surrender to custody. Committed to prison for seven weeks suspended for 12 months.
