ARTISTIC youngsters spent their half-term school holiday creating wonderful Tudor and Egyptian models based on their topic class subjects.
Classes from Unstone Junior School, on Main Road, have been learning about the Tudors and the Egyptians since January and volunteered to make models based on their studies.
A school spokesman said: “They all did very well. We couldn’t believe it when they came back from their holidays to show us these fantastic models.
“It just went to show how much they had learned and how much they had enjoyed themselves during their topic classes.”
Pupils from Year 5 and 6 learned about Egyptian history and pupils from Year 3 and 4 learned about Tudor history.
Among the most impressive models were a pyramid, a mummy and Tudor ships.
