Jazz lunch aids schools project

Nearly £1,100 was raised from a jazz lunch held at Ramshaw Lodge, Unstone, and run by the Rotary Club of Drone Valley.

More than 100 people had an enjoyable afternoon in the sun with a glass of wine, lunch and a concert by the Sheffield based New Orleans Strollers Jazz Band.

Proceeds go towards funding the Drug Awareness Resistance Education (DARE) campaign for Year 6 pupils in Dronfield schools.

The club would like to thank all who attended and all who helped, particularly Jill and Tony Bethell, for the use of Ramshaw Lodge Gardens and its facilities.

The Rotary Club of Drone Valley holds meetings every Monday night at the Talbot Arms Public house, Stubley Lane, Dronfield Woodhouse.
