International assembly to promote unity
Pupils have teamed up with students from around the world to promote global unity.
Young people from Highfields School, Matlock, took part in the Commonwealth Class’s World’s Biggest Assembly in celebration Commonwealth Day.
Highfields was one of only 15 schools in the UK to take part alongside schools from far–flung places such as Nigeria, Malaysia and Canada in run up to the Commonwealth Games.
