AN inquest has opened into the death of Lee Hendry.

A Chesterfield hearing was told how the body of the divorced care support worker, 52, was found at a semi-detached home on Westlea View, Clowne, last Tuesday.

The cause of death was a stabbing wound to the neck.

Ms Hendry was of Princess Street, Brimington and the inquest was adjourned pending further inquiries.

Alexander Burnett, 31, has been arrested and charged on suspicion of murder. He is to appear at court in December.
