Homeowner threatened with knife during Langwith Junction robbery

Police are appealing for witnesses to a robbery at a house in Langwith Junction in which the homeowner was threatened with a knife.

At 9pm on November 25 the occupants of a house on Burlington Avenue contacted police to say they had been robbed.

They had answered a knock on the back door of their home and been confronted by two men who were wearing dark clothing, with their faces covered.

The men walked into the house and assaulted a man who was visiting. They demanded money and threatened the occupant with a knife before stealing cash from him.

Officers from Amber Valley CID are asking for anyone who was in the area at the time or anyone who has any information about the incident to contact them on 101, quoting incident number 669/25/11/14. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
