Help wanted for reading challenge

High Peak teenagers are being asked to help out with Derbyshire County Council’s Summer Reading Challenge 2013.

The aim of the 15th annual challenge is to get at least 10,000 children to sign up to read six books and volunteers are needed to help with a number of duties, including registering children for the challenge and encouraging children to discuss what they have been reading.

For more information, or an application form, see www.derbyshire.gov.uk. Completed forms should be returned to any county council library by May 10.
