Members of the public are being urged to help police decide which neighbourhood issues to crack down on at an upcoming meeting.
Officers from Wirksworth and Middleton Safer Neighbourhood Team are holding a forum meeting in the New Year to set the area’s policing priorities.
PC Doug Eyre, from the team, said: “The success of these meetings relies heavily on turnout from local people and I’d urge as many as possible to come along and have their say.
“Forum meetings influence the issues we tackle so it pays for the public to voice any concerns or raise any potential problems with us.
The meeting is being held at Wirksworth Town Hall from 5.30pm on Wednesday, January 9.
