HEATH AND HOLMEWOOD: Vicar paddles in sea on community’s day trip to SKegness

On Saturday 140 adults and children excitedly gathered at St Albans centre to await the arrival of the three coaches to take them to Skegness for the day. The price of seats was kept to £5 each because of a grant received from the parish council to subsidize the event.

Eating fish and chips, going in the arcades, riding on the donkeys, kept the day trippers occupied and happy.

The vicar had a paddle in the sea and was seen eating candy floss!
