HEARTWARMING PICTURES: Children take to Staveley’s streets with cakes to spread love and kindness after Paris terror attacks

Big-hearted youngsters have spread some happiness after the Paris terror attacks.

Pupils at Barrow Hill Primary School made cakes and handed them out to strangers on the streets of Staveley on Friday.

The children, from years five and six, said: “We were really upset at the news from Paris and we decided we wanted to put some love and kindness back into the world.”

Teachers at the school said the pupils carried out an “incredible” act of kindness.
