NE Derbyshire District Council is sharing its newly launched Health and Wellbeing Strategy for the next four years.

The council consulted with 1000 people to develop the strategy. The gap in life expectancy between the least and most deprived areas in the district is 8.7 years for men and 4.7 years for women, so a key aim is to reduce this gap and help people lead longer lives.

The Strategy can be downloaded from the Council’s website http://www.ne-derbyshire.gov.uk/community-living/healthy-north-east-derbyshire-approach/.
