A North Derbyshire health worker has been honoured for helping frail and elderly people live independently. Naomi Compton, NHS North Derbyshire clinical commissioning group locality manager, was instrumental in contracting Derbyshire Dales voluntary services council to work with organisations to carry out basic tasks for people at risk of hospital admission, without practical support at home.

She has won the CCG’s staff award and received a certificate and trophy. She is seen with Dr Ben Milton, CCG chairman.
