SUPER-FIT employees have been stepping into action to clock up points in the race to be crowned winners of the Workplace Challenge Trophy as they help promote healthier lifestyles at work.
Health-conscious businesses signed up this month to the joint Derbyshire Times, Derbyshire chamber of commerce and NHS Derbyshire County Workplace Challenge and have been armed with pedomoeters to record their efforts.
Following the six-week project’s October 1 launch the latest records read as follows with the most active company listed first and the least active last: Impact Apprenticeships, Fastsigns, Enable Group, Brighter Directions, BRM Solicitors, Derbyshire chamber, Redlands IS, Visit Peak District, Derbyshire Times, The HR Department and Derbyshire Sport.
Other companies taking part and who have not submitted scores or are interested in joining the race as late entries are urged to call Derbyshire chamber’s Jon Smart on (01246) 207207.
Pedometer points are being averaged out depending on different sized teams and totals will be tallied.
