Words on the move

A NEW, independent, non-profit making, mobile Christian Bookshop has been set up after the demise of the Buxton Christian Bookshop.

The aim of the venture is to sell books whenever possible at bargain prices to make the printed word accessible to as many people as possible.

The mobile bookshop will also sell stock cards, CDs, DVDs and gifts.

Items can be ordered if they are not in stock and posted out to customers.

More details on the mobile bookshop are available from Don and Iris Sparkes on 01433 659280 or via email at isparkes@btinternet.com.

Buxton Christian Bookshop on Market Street closed last month after almost three decades of trading.
