A WOMAN has received a warning after drugs were found at a house in a north Derbyshire village.

Officers carried out a warrant at an address on Broom Avenue, Pilsley, at the end of December.

They found a small quantity of cannabis and a number of pills which have been seized for testing.

A 23-year-old woman, from Chesterfield, was given a warning for possession of a class B drug.

Team Sergeant Aidan Stones, of Derbyshire police, said: “We carried out the warrant at the address following information and concerns from the community about drug misuse.

“If anyone has any information about suspected illegal drug activity then please contact us.”

Anyone with information relating to drugs or any other crime can call Derbyshire police on 101. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
