Waiting for Video...

Tibshelf Town End Junior School is in the spotlight for this week’s Primary Focus - listen to their wonderful performance here.

The school, which looks out onto the Peak District, has around 180 pupils on their roll.

The school has a room specifically for teaching music, and this excellent performance shows it is being put to good use

Headteacher Mrs Beverley Wilson said: “At Tibshelf Town End Junior School we will unlock the potential of every child.

“All Pupils leave us being able to communicate effectively through writing, number, ICT and speech.

Above all, they will have compassion and respect for others.

“The adults at Townend Junior School share a firm belief that all children can walk a step or two with genius and that our role is to weave a magic carpet, which will transform their futures,” she said.
