VIDEO: Temple Normanton Primary School sings for us

This week we’re turning the spotlight on Temple Normanton Primary School.

Derbyshire Times photographer Rebecca Havercroft has visited the school to take a lovely group shot which will be on page 67 of this week’s paper.

What’s more, Rebecca has filmed a wonderful video of the pupils singing – to watch it, either log on to our website at www.derbyshiretimes.co.uk or scan the QR code on the right.

In its latest Ofsted report, Government inspectors praised the school.

They wrote: “The school has many strengths.

“It is well respected in the local community because of the outstanding engagement of staff with parents and carers who feel very well supported and firmly believe that pupils are well cared for and make good progress.”

Primary Focus showcases group shots from the county’s wonderful schools while over on our website you can watch videos of pupils learning, singing – and more!

Editor James Mitchinson said: “Primary Focus proving to be a much-loved part of your Derbyshire Times.

“We’re getting lots of positive feedback from proud schools and parents so if you’re a primary why not get involved?”

If you’re a headteacher and would like your school to feature in Primary Focus, email comment@derbyshiretimes.co.uk
