CANINE rescuer Dolly is top dog!

The search and rescue dog and her handler Nick Shepherd, from Disley, have made the grade following a three-day assessment in the Lake District, to become a fully-operational search dog team.

Nick, who is a voluntary member of the Kinder Mountain Rescue Team based in Hayfield, has been training his German Shepherd companion since December 2009.
