Tuneful youngsters warmed the hearts of soggy shoppers with a surprise singing session.

Curbar Primary School’s choir braved the threat of rain to perform in Bakewell town centre on Friday.

The talented youngsters put on two performances of Puttin’ on the Ritz – one in the Co–operative supermarket and the other in Water Street.

The school is aiming to raise funds for a new multi-use games area.
