TALENTED pupils hosted a charity event to raise funds for the MS Society.

The event on Thursday, October 25, at Tupton Hall School was organised by year 13 pupil Sophie Morrison and the school’s music department.

Students from across school took part and there was a wide variety of acts including gymnastic displays, singers, rock bands and dancers.

First prize went to Ben Stott for his energetic and humorous performance of Last Night by Lucy Spraggen.

Second prize went to Jasmine Fox and Louise Rowley for their gymnastic display and third place went to Charlotte Hall for her operatic performance.

Miss Kirby, head of music, said “Sophie did an amazing job organising the evening.

“She was dedicated to the project throughout and was determined to make it happen.

“Everyone had a great time and people have been so generous with their donations.

“So far the event has raised over £400 for the charity.”
