SUPERMUM Patricia Glover was made to feel like a celebrity – after winning a top fashion makeover.

Patricia, 57, of Knorbury Close in Chesterfield, won a competition run by McArthurGlen’s East Midlands Designer Outlet and the Derbyshire Times.

She was presented with £200 of vouchers from the shopping outlet, advice from a style consultant and a photo shoot in the stunning house and gardens of Hardwick Hall.

Patricia was nominated by her son Jason Glover who said his mum was the “backbone” of the family and was always there for her three children and eight grandchildren.

Her brother died of cancer 18 months ago and she looked after him throughout his illness before battling cancer herself in October 2011 and undergoing a double mastectomy.

Jason said: “She was discharged the next day with her normal fighting spirit determined to get stronger.

“I think this makeover will give her the boost she needs and give her back her self-esteem as well as let her know just how much she is loved and needed by her family.”
