Spires set for welcome signs

New 'Welcome to Chesterfield' signs with the spire added.

The crooked spire is set to be added to the controversial ‘Welcome to Chesterfield signs.

Business bosses have revealed the new logo which will see the sticker of the spire added to existing signs.

A spokesman for Destination Chesterfield said: “We are awaiting highways approval to make the addition.

“If approved we will use a similar design for the coach station welcome signs as well.”
