Staff at Sainsbury’s in Buxton have raised over £200 for Be Bold Alopecia Awareness by holding a special fundraising weekend.

Employees at the Eagle Parade store dressed in purple and wore wigs, with special guest Julia Roos, who suffers from Alopecia, manning the tombola, as well as helping to raise awareness of the condition and the work Be Bold does.

And their efforts raised £230 for the charity.

Deputy manager Della Ward said she would like to thank all the store’s customers for their generous donations and support for such a worthy cause.
