A lane was closed on Whittington Moor roundabout after a car lost control.

Police were called out at 9.10am today (Monday, December 31) after a Jeep heading towards the A61, spun out of control.

The driver was not injured but she was suffering from shock and was treated by ambulance crews at the scene.

One lane of the roundabout was closed while the car was recovered.
