Rich learning at Palterton

It’s time to visit another Derbyshire primary school for our special new feature which is already proving to be hugely popular.

Our weekly Primary Focus page will feature group shots from Derbyshire schools while on our website you’ll be able to watch videos of pupils learning, singing and more!

Derbyshire Times photographer Rebecca Havercroft has visited “delightful” Palterton Primary School to capture a lovely smiley shot which is on page 35 of this week’s paper – no doubt there will be lots of very proud family members out there right now!

What’s more, Rebecca filmed a wonderful video of pupils singing – just click play on the above video.

A school spokesman said: “Our aim is to provide a stimulating and motivating education for all children.

“It’s a place where learning is rich.”

If your school would like to be involved in a future edition of Primary Focus, call 01246 504526, email comment@derbyshiretimes.co.uk or use our Twitter or Facebook.
