Pupils have been excluded from Newbold Community School for making “malicious comments.”
Last week the Derbyshire Times reported that three teachers - including the headteacher - have been suspended.
Derbyshire County Council is carrying out an investigation and has been unable to confirm why the teachers have been suspended.
This week the school revealed “several” pupils had been excluded.
A spokesman added: “We have excluded several pupils for malicious comments they made on social media sites.
“We have reminded all pupils to act responsibly when posting comments on social media sites.
“We are unable to say when the investigations will be completed.”
Comments
