Officers in Chesterfield are trying to trace a man on a mobility scooter who helped a girl on Bacon’s Lane.
Between 7.30 – 8pm on Sunday August 31 a man driving a four-door silver car allegedly spoke to an 11-year-old girl at the junction of Bacon’s Lane and Birdholme Crescent.
The girl was frightened and ran to a grey-haired man on a mobility scooter who told the car driver to leave.
Officers would like to speak to the man to see if he has any more information that would assist the investigation into what happened.
Anyone who can help should ring 101 and ask for PSCO Judith Cornwall or quote incident number 833/31/08/14.
