Gypsy Brown has been missing from her home in Selston since Saturday.

Gypsy Brown has been missing from her home in Selston since Saturday.

Police are appealing for information to trace a missing schoolgirl.

Gypsy Brown was last seen by her mum at about 3pm on Saturday.

She left her Selston home with a packed bag claiming to be staying over at a friend’s house that night.

When the 15-year-old did not return home the next day and it became clear she had not stayed with her friend, the alarm was raised.

Officers are making enquiries into two unconfirmed sightings of Gypsy in Mansfield and Nottingham.

They are appealing to her to call home to let her family know she is safe.

Gypsy is white, about 5ft 3ins tall with long black hair.

She was last seen wearing a pink hooded sweater, a blue body warmer with a fur hood and black trousers. She may also have a gold handbag with her.

Anyone with information about Gypsy’s whereabouts should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
