It’s last call for parents who want to secure an infant or primary school place for their child.
Parents with children born between September 1 2008 and August 31 2009 have until midnight on January 15 to apply.
They can apply to Derbyshire County Council online at www.derbyshire.gov.uk/admissions, or by calling 08456 058 058. Failing that they can email admissions@derbyshire.gov.uk or call 01629 537499. The form can be returned to any Derbyshire infant or primary school.
Parents applying online can log on to get the result of their application or receive an email about their child’s place on April 16. Parents who do not have an email address will be notified by letter.
