PICTURE SLIDESHOW: Chesterfield’s 80s reunion is sell-out event

Have your say

Depeche Mode’s eighties’ anthem, Just Can’t Get Enough, could have been written for Chez Vegas it seems.

Organisers of a night celebrating the sights and sounds of Chesterfield in the era were overwhelmed by demand for tickets - it sold

out within days of going on sale.

And the event’s forthcoming Summer Special at the Proact Stadium on Saturday, July 26, looks set to be just as popular with tickets already flying out.

‘Eighties! The Biggest Reunion... Ever!’ was organised following the success of Neil Anderson’s Dirty Stop Out’s Guide to 1980s Chesterfield book that was published

last year in conjunction with the Derbyshire Times

and became a local best seller.

He said: “The night at CFC’s Proact Stadium was brilliant. We couldn’t believe how popular it was. The demand for tickets caught us all by surprise.”

Tickets for the Eighties! The Biggest Reunion... Ever Summer Special are £7.50 each and can be purchased from.acmretro.com or from the stadium ticket line on 01246 209 765 ext 4162.
