Police have released a CCTV image of a ‘Good Samaritan’ who helped a woman with facial images.

Police are appealing for a passer-by who helped a woman with facial injuries after spotting her in the street to come forward.

The Good Samaritan was driving along Clifton Road, Matlock Bath, when she stopped to help the victim, who had several injuries to her face.

She took the victim to Whitworth Hospital, in Darley Dale, and left her in the care of nursing staff before leaving.

The incident took place at about 7pm on Monday, March 10. The victim was later taken to Chesterfield and North Derbyshire Royal Hospital.

Police have released a CCTV image of the Good Samaritan who picked the victim up and drove her to hospital. Officers want to speak to the woman to help with their inquiries.
