Three national park leaders have bid a fond farewell to the authority they they helped to shape.

The Peak District National Park Authority’s director of land use policy John Lomas has retired after a 38–year career in conservation and planning, as well as authority members Christopher Pennell and Pauline Beswick. Christopher chaired the audit, resources and performance committee and Pauline was the Authority’s cultural heritage representative.
