Detectives are linking two burglaries which happened in New Whittington.
Sometime between 6pm and 8pm on Friday, March 8, a burglar forced open a downstairs window at a house in Handley Road.
They took five laptops, jewellery and a distinct Titleist golf bag featuring a BMW logo.
Between 7pm and 9.20pm on the same evening, a burglar forced open a downstairs window at a house in Highland Road, taking electrical items including laptops and tablet computers.
