Fifteen new Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) are patrolling the streets of Derbyshire after completing their training course.

Of them, PCSO Hayley Grundy will be stationed at Matlock.

Chief Constable Mick Creedon said: “I am delighted to welcome these new PCSOs to the force. Community support officers are vital to local policing and I’m sure they will make a genuine difference to the lives of people in the area they serve.”

Nineteen Safer Neighbourhood teams are now on Twitter, sharing details of local initiatives, appeals and police surgeries. To find out if your team is on Twitter, visit www.derbyshire.police.uk and click on ‘My Local Police.
