Parking restrictions are due to be introduced to a Ripley road to help improve visibility and safety.
A parking review showed that increasing numbers of motorists are parking too close to side road junctions along the B6179 Nottingham Road.
A Derbyshire County Council spokesman said: “We’ll be adding short lengths of double yellow lines to junction areas to improve the situation in the New Year.”
