New officers Derbyshire police Feb 2014

A prison officer from Ilkeston is one of 16 new police officers sworn in this week.

Pc Raymond Hill (back row second from left) will be based at St Mary’s Wharf. Former special constable and call operator Thomas Barry (back second from right) will start work as a Pc on the Ilkeston beat.

Chief Constable Mick Creedon said: “We are now bringing in fresh blood which is tremendous.”
