NDET 19-6-12 RKH 1 Rachel Abberley, Pippa Pretty, Jo Reynolds, Tracie Holocuk ready for Ashgate Hospice Midnight Walk.

AROUND 900 women will be stepping out under the stars to raise thousands of pounds during Ashgate Hospice’s Midnight Walk.

The annual event sets off from Cliffe Park, at Dronfield, from midnight, on Saturday evening, and the fundraisers will walk to the hospice, on Ashgate Road, Chesterfield, and back.

Hospice event organiser Emily Evans said: “We’re so proud of everyone who takes part and marshals and we urge motorists to take extra care if they see the ladies making their way across town.”

This year’s event hopes to raise over £100,000 towards running costs and donations and pledges are welcome at the hospice.
