A Matlock man has been jailed for 18 months after police found heroin and cash in his car.
Benjamin Wain (21) was stopped on Hollis Lane, Chesterfield, at around 3.30pm on Thursday, April 12 2012. The vehicle was searched and cash and heroin was found.
Wain, of Whitewood Way, Matlock, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply a Class A drug. He appeared at Derby Crown Court for sentencing on Thursday, January 10.
The court also ordered the forfeiture of the Volkswagen Golf GTI he was travelling in, and £810 cash, under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
