Man assaulted in Chesterfield

Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Chesterfield.

On Sunday, September 23, at approximately 5am a man was walking near to the roundabout where Sheffield Road, Peveril Road and Lockoford Lane meet, when he was approached by three men.

He was then assaulted by the men causing the victim to suffer a possible broken nose. During the attack money was taken from his wallet.

The men were described as white; one of the men was of a medium build, 5ft 8ins tall, in his mid 20’s with a shaved head. The second man was 6ft 2ins tall, very slim, in his mid 20’s with short dark hair and the third man was described as in his mid 30’s, of a stocky build with facial hair.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Derbyshire police using the non-emergency 101 number.
