The M1 motorway has been closed in both directions north of Derbyshire after a man was hit by a lorry.
The road is closed at junction 34, Meadowhall.
The incident took place around noon today.
Diversions are in place but delays are expected to be long - with the road not expected to open again until at least 4pm.
