LANGWITH: RAF medals taken in burglary

editorial image

editorial image

Long service RAF medals were taken during a burglary in Langwith.

Between 9pm on Wednesday, February 20 and 4.15am on Thursday, February 21 thieves broke into a house on Dale Close.

They stole a laptop, a games console, a Nikon digital camera and RAF long service medals.

Two men dressed in suits visited the property earlier in the day purporting to be meter readers but the homeowner did not let them in.

It is not known if this is connected to the burglary.

Anyone with information is asked to call Derbyshire police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
