A new pharmacy will be officially opened in Killamarsh.
Based at Killamarsh Medical Practice, in Sheffield Road, the new pharmacy is fully open for business from Monday, March 11.
It will be officially opened by councillor Liilian Robinson, the North East Derbyshire District councillor who represents Killamarsh East Ward, on Friday, March 8 at 1.30pm.
Patients are welcome to attend the event and look at the new facilities from 1pm to 6pm.
Services include health and lifestyle advice, pregnancy testing, screening services for diabetes and cholesterol, stop smoking services and travel advice.
Paul Roberts, practice manager at Killamarsh Medical Practice, said: “This new pharmacy is great news for patients in Killamarsh.
“Patients are at the heart of everything we do and now we can offer them even better healthcare than before with a new range of services to improve their quality of life.
“We look forward to welcoming everyone to our opening event and hope that they enjoy looking at the new facilities.”
