Jobs directory re-launched

BOLSOVER Partnership and Bolsover District Council have created a directory for people looking for work.

The up-dated and re-designed online directory gathers information about nearly every organisation that offers work-related local assistance. It is available at www.helptowork.org.uk and in Citizen Advice Bureau’s e-kiosks.

Penny Melville-Brown, Chairman of the Disability Partnership, said: “Now we are covering Chesterfield Borough and further afield, the directory just keeps growing.

“We have pulled together organisations that cover just about anything linked to work from writing a CV and finding a job through to volunteering and training and to setting up your own business.

“It’s easier to use the Search tool rather than having to hunt through all the massive amount of support available.”

The directory includes specific help for people with long-term health conditions and disabilities.

It’s re-launch is just one way that the partnership and council celebrated the International Day of Disabled People on December 3.

For more information contact Penny Melville-Brown on (01329) 841814 or email penny@laylands.co.uk for details.
