Intoxicated web advice

editorial image

A police campaign that encourages pub and nightclub owners not to sell alcohol to drunken patrons is heading online for a vital surgery.

Intoxicated is aimed at reducing the level of alcohol-related crime by urging bar staff in the Derbyshire Dales and High Peak to be more vigilant when it comes to serving customers.

Licensees will be offered advice and information on the campaign and encouraged to train staff on how to pick up on the early stages of intoxication.

Licensing sergeant Mark Wright said: “It will be a great source of information for licensees in our area.”

To get involved with the virtual surgery visit www.derbyshire.police.uk between 2pm and 4pm on Tuesday, January 22.
