There have been increased sightings of barn owls on Bonsall Moor this winter, thanks to local volunteers.
Liz Stoppard, of the Bonsall Field Barn Project, a group of volunteers who restore barns in the parish, said: “While many owls have perished in recent severe winters, our have flourished.”
Since launching in 2005, 11 barns have been restored.
